TAKING A BATH ON THE SPIN CYCLE

Today we sailed to The Baths on Virgin Gorda.  Columbus named all the islands in the area after the plethora of virgins that were the followers of some saint.  Virgin Gorda, The Fat Virgin, was supposedly named because it resembles a, how do you put it nicely? A large woman laying on her back poking out from the water.  Check it out by googling the island. 

The Baths are some of our favorite places and we were excited to show it to Sev.  It's a B E A U T I F U L beach with large boulders strewn about as if Walt Disney himself had meticulously placed them for maximum entertainment value.  There is a path you follow, more like a labyrinth of cool baths, narrow climbs, and of course our favorite, flushing whirlpools that suck you in or spit you out...or both.
